Dynamic Boost
NVIDIA tech that shifts spare power between the CPU and GPU in real time to add extra GPU wattage when gaming.
Dynamic Boost lets the system move power that the CPU is not using over to the GPU, adding up to around 25W on top of the base TGP. A controller rebalances this many times per second based on what the game needs.
The result is higher effective graphics power in GPU-bound games without exceeding the laptop overall thermal and power budget. It works alongside, not instead of, the base TGP figure.
Why it matters when buying
When a spec sheet lists something like '150W + 25W Dynamic Boost', the second number is the headroom. Dynamic Boost only helps if the cooling can handle the extra heat, so it pairs best with vapor-chamber laptops.
