Ninja Theory showed Senua in June. Now staff say goodbye

Ninja Theory, the studio behind Hellblade, revealed its next game Senua at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2026. In July Xbox said it would move the studio to a new owner; in September Xbox said two separate sale agreements had fallen through and the studio moved toward closure, while saying it would continue to explore other paths forward. Over the past week several Ninja Theory developers have posted that their roles are at risk of redundancy or have ended. #NinjaTheory #Hellblade #Senua #Xbox #GamingNews #shorts
