A third of Wolverine buyers picked the disc

Analyst data says 35% of Marvel's Wolverine sales were physical copies. In Europe the disc version was 51% of sales, in France more than two thirds, while the UK went two thirds digital. Other September releases look similar: Silent Hill Townfall 45%, The Blood of Dawnwalker 36%, Onimusha: Way of the Sword 30%. Sony plans to stop producing PlayStation discs from January 2028, and has said it heard the "strong views" but isn't changing course.
